3rd GRADE: ART 10

                    A BIRD HOUSE

MODEL 1

MODEL 2

MATERIALS:
Clean and Dry Recycled Milk or Juice Carton
A Piece of White  Cardboard
Un trozo de cartulina blanca.
Glue
Pegamento
Paintbrush
Pincel
Tissue Paper Squares in Different Colours
Cuadrados de papel fino de diferentes colores
A Plastic or Wooden Spoon
Una cuchara de plástico o madera
Knife ( parental use only)
Cuchillo o cutter ( SÓLO PUEDEN USARLO LOS PADRES)

STEP 1:
Paint the recycled milk or juice carton white.

STEP 2:
Glue the  tissue paper squares on the carton.

STEP 3:
To create the roof, use a piece of white cardboard, folded in half, and cover it with tissue paper squares.

STEP 4:
Cut an opening for the door  and insert the handle of a spoon . Before you push it all the way to the back of the carton, add some glue to attach the end of the spoon to the interior back of the carton.

STEP 5:
Cut two small slits for the twine and tie a knot.
Finally, use some glue to attach the roof to your carton.

If you want, you can give it a light hand of varnish.
